Pam Carvell

What does "Living Intentionally" Mean to You?

Pam Carvell is a Sr. Manager for Inspection Readiness Site Support for Pfizer, Inc.  Pam is responsible for assisting Pfizer facilities prepare for government inspections.  This includes facilitating periodic calls to discuss past experiences and concerns, performing Pre-Approval Inspections, performing role plays with site subject matter experts, and connect sites with any company resources they may need to work towards a successful outcome.  Oh, and lots of travel. 

Pam is a member of the Customer-Supplier Division for ASQ, the Global Voice of Quality, where she has held many officer positions, including Chair.  She is currently serving as Chair-Elect for the Division.  Since 2014, Pam has been an instructor for “Improved Auditing for Supplier Performance” course.  She has been a member of ASQ for more than 20 years and has also served on the Technical Communities Council Administration Board.

Pam has been a member of ABWA for 29 years and is a member of the Lancaster Area Express Network in Lancaster, PA.  Pam is honored to be a 2018 ABWA Top Ten, Past National Vice-President, and Past District IV Vice-President.  Throughout her years in ABWA, she has held several positions in her local ABWA leagues and council.  ABWA has provided the support network and sisterhood for Pam to grow both professionally and personally.   

Pam also serves in leadership roles for her church.  A graduate of Shippensburg University with a B.S. in Chemistry.  Pam lives in Leola, Pennsylvania.

Lucy Dowd is the Owner of Lucy Dowd Law.  Lucy has over 30 years of experience assisting clients in the areas of Estate Settlement, Elder Law, Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and representing individuals with special needs, including Special Needs Trusts and Guardianships.  She is also the Solicitor of a municipal sewer and water authority.  

Lucy is passionate about helping her clients, listening to their needs and explaining every step of the legal process to them in language that is easy to understand.  She is also passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities.

Welcome to the Lancaster Area Express Network, a local chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) national organization. 

We are located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. If you are driven and determined in your vision to succeed, then ABWA Express Network membership is for you. With the Lancaster Area Express Network, you will develop leadership skills, network with business professionals, strengthen business contacts, gain self-confidence and build friendships.

Attend our next monthly meeting!  LAEN meetings are held over breakfast from 7:15 to 9:00 a.m. – offering the flexibility you require – and include time to network, a guest speaker, and a breakfast buffet. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Lancaster Country Club (get directions). The cost is $20 for ABWA members and $30 for non-ABWA members. Reservations are required by noon on the Monday before the event. Reservations & payment can be made online or at the door by cash/check -
