Pro-Aging - Successful Aging - Empowered Aging

One begins aging the minute one is conceived. Aging is not something that one is able to control. It happens to every one of us. Yet, for a third of our lives, we are least accepting of this fact.  People are happiest at the beginnings and the ends of their lives.

This presentation proposes alternative thinking focusing on ones home and living environment. It provides strategies to push back on sociological perceptions on aging and to turn one’s attention away from the negativism of ageism that renders what is a natural transitions shameful and discrimination excusable.
