To Live, Love, Learn and Leave a Legacy: How will your talents leave this world a better place?
We, as women, tend to be nurturing about how we frame and understand our relationships – with family, friends and colleagues. We are also careful about the messages (personal and brand) that we share with those around us. But have we taken time to really consider how we nurture and “frame” the future? Have we asked the question – in a thoughtful, intentional way – about how the world could be better because we were here?
What we’re talking about is “legacy.” It is possible to leave such things to luck, but given how much of ourselves we invest in what we do, why would we leave our legacy to chance? As Executive Director of Girls on the Run, Carrie Johnson has built a career around taking care of future generations, thoughtfully and intentionally giving them what we wished we would have had at a young(er) age! Come listen to Carrie’s story and why it is so critically important that we use our own talents and strengths to leave future generations in good hands.
